Yes! We get to have our blood drive! It is Tuesday, April 6 (odd day). The cool thing is they are bringing two big bloodmobiles! If you have any questions see Mrs. Edwards in 1630 or email at edwardsj@wdmcs.org. You can even get an hour for Silver Cord.

Planet 7 Group Leader Applications
Applications are due by 5 p.m. on Friday, April 30. West Des Moines Parks and Recreation is recruiting Planet 7 Group Leaders. Interested candidates must enjoy working with junior high students, be a team player, and add value to the program. Candidates who fill out a detailed application and elaborate on why they want to be a Planet 7 Leader will receive greater consideration. Those selected can earn up to 38 hours of Silver Cord credit OR $100.

Valley Girls’ Rugby Club Season Is Starting Soon
Come out and try something new this year. Everyone from grades 9-12 is welcome. Bring along a friend to learn and have fun together. Practices are located at Indian Hills Junior High and go from from 4:30-6 p.m.

Dance Marathon Fundraising Event at Panda Express
This Thursday, March 11, make sure to head out to the Panda Express on Mills Civic to help support Valley’s Dance Marathon. Twenty percent of sales will be donated to our event. - Entrée: Chicken Fra Diavolo*—spicy tomato sauce with chicken and penne pasta. *The spicy tomato sauce contains a lobster base.
- Dessert: Cheesecake—a creamy, no-bake cheesecake topped with chopped strawberries.

- The process for making a reservation has changed. You will now need to fill out your information at this website and pre-pay for your meal. The cost is $10. Cash and checks will not be allowed.
- We are not doing dine-in reservations, but are offering drive by pick-up this semester.
